Squeeze and Billy Bragg announce new tour for 2026

Squeeze and Billy Bragg have confirmed details of a joint UK tour in 2026.

The two iconic British acts will be taking to the road for Squeeze’s Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour, which will take them across indoor arenas and theatres in the UK in November and December 2026.

It will kick off at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on November 12th, before a relatively intimate, by the tour’s standard, performance at the Blackpool Opera House on November 13th.

They will then visit Nottingham, Newcastle, Stockton, Hull, before a weekend of arena dates in Leeds and Liverpool on November 20th and November 21st, respectively.

Next up, Squeeze and Bragg will be hitting up the historic O2 Apollo in Manchester before performing at the O2 Arena in London on November 26th.

The final run of shows on the tour will see the two acts stop by Cardiff, Birmingham, Swansea, Plymouth, Bournemouth, and Brighton.

Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook said of the tour, “The reaction to the 50th anniversary tour in 2024 was amazing. We have never sounded better and it feels really special to be looking forward to playing the biggest headline shows of our career.  And having Billy Bragg on the same bill, what’s not to love!”

Meanwhile, the band’s Chris Difford added, “It’s going to be amazing to show off songs from our album Trixies and, of course, all the hits and some surprises. I’m also excited that Billy Bragg will be joining us for all the shows.”

Squeeze are also encouraging fans to donate to the Trussell Trust at concerts, which provides emergency food and support to people who cannot afford the essentials, whether through food donations or cash.

Additionally, £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Music Venue Trust, giving back to grassroots venues across the UK.
