Split Enz to reunite for new tour

New Zealand art-rock group Split Enz have announced plans to reunite in 2026.

The band, which consists of Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner, and Noel Crombie, will be taking to the road in Australia in May 2026.

The upcoming set of shows marks their first tour in 18 years. Split Enz will perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Adelaide.

In a statement, the band shared on social media, “For the first time in nearly 20 years, Split Enz are reuniting! Original members Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner & Noel Crombie return for the Forever Enz Tour, hitting stages across Australia in May 2026.”

⁠It continues, “Celebrating 50 years since Mental Notes and a legendary legacy of hits like ‘I Got You’, ‘I See Red’, and ‘Message to My Girl’, this is a once-in-a-generation reunion you won’t want to miss.⁠”

Neil Finn also said of the upcoming shows, “Split Enz was my first band, my initiation into the magic of music and collaboration. It feels very special to be reuniting with that feeling and reigniting the flame.”

Looking ahead to the tour, the Crowded House singer continued, “We’ll be in top form I know it, out of respect for the songs and our audience.”

General sale is set to take place at 12pm local time on November 17th following pre-sales with Mastercard and Live Nation.

Additionally, Split Enz have been confirmed to headline Byron Bay Bluesfest in April 2026. They will be joined at the festival by Earth, Wind and Fire, Buddy Guy, The Black Crowes, The Pogues, Counting Crows, and many more.
