A brand new socially distanced outdoor cinema is being launched in London.
The move comes in response to cinemas across the country being forced to close their doors amid strict social distancing measures. With a summer of altered social experiences, the Free Range Film Club will make the most of London’s open spaces.
Taking place between July and September, the social distanced cinema will make the most of London’s green spaces for a ‘cinema-under-the-stars experience’.
“Join us this summer for a series of bijou movie screenings in London’s great outdoors,” organisers said in a statement” Set in some of the capital’s finest green spaces, capacities will be strictly limited allowing you and your companions to enjoy the movie in allocated spaces, safely socially-distanced from other groups.
“Expect a programme of cult classics, feel good faves and indie flicks. Best of all, the balmy nights can be enjoyed entirely alfresco with not a car in sight; just bring a blanket and we’ll deliver bespoke street food and cold crafty tipples direct to your space.”
