Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan announces new solo tour
Billy Corgan has announced his intentions to hit the road as part of a solo tour across North America in November.
Corgan, who has been busy touring with Noel Gallagher as part of the Smashing Pumpkins’ 30th anniversary, will lead back to Los Angeles for three nights in a row at Lodge Room playing tracks from his extensive back catalogue.
From there, Corgan will head to Nashville, Tulsa, Vocington, Stroudsburg before ending up in New York City where he will again play three nights in a row – this time though, at the Gramercy Theatre.
“Excited to announce WPC will be heading out on a solo tour this fall, hitting select U.S. cities,” a tweet said in confirmation of the tour. “He’ll be playing songs from his extensive catalogue, including Smashing Pumpkin, Zwan, WPC, and more.”
