Slowthai has served up a double delight for his fans by sharing details for an upcoming UK tour and new visuals for his track, ‘VEX’.
Last week saw Slowthai release his second album, TYRON, which is currently on course to be his first number one record and now he has announced plans to finally celebrate the release.
The rapper is hoping to hit the road in August and September throughout Britain, playing intimate venues. His venue size choice adds a glimmer of hope that small gigs will be up and running by this time; hence, why Slowthai hasn’t chosen to play much bigger venues like he easily could.
The tour begins at Glasgow’s G2 on August 31st. It will culminate at The Underworld in Camden on September 9th after visits to Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, Oxford’s The Bullingdon, The Joiners in Southampton and The Hare & Hounds in Birmingham.
“I miss you all so much, and we need something to look forward to so I’m taking it back to the smaller venues that need our support more than ever,” Slowthai said in a statement. “LOVE YOU CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU IN THOSE SWEATY BOX ROOMS LET’S GET IT.”
The rapper has also shared the visuals for the aggressive, ‘VEX’, which sees him make gruesome burgers at a diner and express the wayward side to his personality that the first-half of TYRON focuses on.
