Slipknot announce the release of their own branded whiskey
Ionic American metal band Slipknot are following in the footsteps of Bob Dylan and are releasing their own signature brand of whiskey.
Teaming up with Cedar Ridge Distillery, Slipknot have created a No. 9 Iowa Whiskey which will retail at $39.99 for a 90-proof whiskey and $69.99 for a 99-proof No. 9 Reserve Iowa Whiskey.
“Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery — two groups of people born and raised in Iowa, and committed to quality and hard work,” stated Slipknot’s Shawn Crahan said in a statement. “We collaborated on No. 9 Whiskey, which in addition to Iowa corn, gets some extra spice from its rye content. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Live life, and always be safe.”
“As we came to know the Slipknot guys, we realised we share a lot of the core elements of a good Iowa foundation — these guys are very down-to-earth, hard-working and care deeply about their followers,” said Cedar Ridge Distillery founder Jeff Quint. “Building this whiskey with them was an easy, natural process that resulted in a strong and spicy expression, just the way they wanted it.”
With plans to sell the whiskey on their upcoming tour dates, you can read more information by visiting their website, here.

Gabrielle is survived by her father, mother Chantel Crahan, sister Alexandria and brothers Gage and Simon.
Reacting to the news, Simon paid tribute to his sister, saying: “Today is the hardest day ever, I’m confused, I’m angry, I’m sad and I’m just sad just really sad,’ in a post on social media. “Gabri I miss you so much I miss you like no other we were best friends we had a good bond and now your not here anymore. I love you Gabri and I know you’ll know that forever,” he added.
Alexandria said: “I am in shock and have no idea how to process the wave of emotions I am experiencing,’ on social media. “The comforts I have in these moments are my family, friends, and cats. Please put good energy out for my parents and my brothers.”
