Skunk Anansie surprised their fans at their recent London show by bringing out the iconic Modfather and leading man of The Jam, Paul Weller to duet on ‘You Do Something To Me’.
The legends of alternative rock, Skunk Anansie, were performing at the huge venue O2 Academy Brixton, when, at the beginning of their first encore they welcomed the legendary singer to join the stage. It saw Weller and SKin share the vocals of the iconic track.
Posting on Instagram after the show, Skin wrote: “Tonight @o2AcademyBrix I got to sing one of my absolute favourite songs with one of my hero’s, the incredible Paul Weller. Honestly, I was pretty starstruck but loved every second. Tonight was legendary.”
Skunk Anansie are known for having done their own version of the Weller track in the past, but this is thought to be the first time that he has joined them to perform it.
