Shia LaBeouf is an enigma at times. The once deemed darling of the commercial acting world has since moved to distance himself as quick as possible from the idea of being an enterprising actor and instead has decided to focus on the art.
However strange or even passé his methods may be, credit should still be given to a man who after the huge franchise of Transformers could have quite easily melted in to a vacuous and vapid artistic existence.
LaBeouf has now further moved away from this with his latest art project which consists of him watching all of his movies over 72 hours. He will not have a break and will watch the films in reverse chronological order. And he will even be doing it all on a livestream which can be seen here
Created in conjunction with artists Nastja Sade Ronkko and Luke Turner the New Hive website says “Visitors are invited to join Shia LaBeouf in person as he watches all his movies consecutively in reverse chronological order over the next three days, 24 hours a day (admission free).”
It’s going to be a great watch like Gogglebox – GoggleBeouf.
