Sharon Van Etten shares new song ‘Staring at a Mountain’

Sharon Van Etten has shared a brand new song in ‘Staring at a Mountain’. The new track will feature in the new film Never Rarely Sometimes Always directed by Eliza Hittman.

The beautiful new song will play during the credits of the new film which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Sharon Van Etten’s vocal is as poignantly delicate on the new song as the arrangement is lush. The score for the film was created by Julia Holter and sees Van Etten soar on the final moments of the film.

Van Etten’s connection with the film doesn’t end there either. The film sees Sidney Flanigan portray a young woman named Autumn who flees to the big apple after falling pregnant. Van Etten takes on the role of Autumn’s mother in the film.

The film is ready for release at the end of this week (March 13th) and will be sure of a beautiful finish.
