Sharon Osbourne has launched a bizarre and astonishing attack on Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn in an explosive new interview.
Osbourne, arguably best known for her time as a judge on reality television show X Factor, has built her career as a well-respected music manager who worked with the likes of Motörhead, Lita Ford, The Smashing Pumpkins and more.
The wife of metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon describes herself as of Irish and Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, a factor which has played a pivotal role in her comments on Corbyn whose political party have been involved in numerous anti-Semitism claims.
Now, sitting down in a new interview with British tabloid newspaper The Sun, Osbourne couldn’t hold back her strong opinion when drawn into conversation about Corbyn. “Oh my God, I hate him so much,” she began. “I want to hurt him. I want to physically hurt this man,” Osbourne escalated.
“He is the most arrogant, ugly fuck. I want to hurt him.”
She continued on her attack: “Oh my God, he is revolting, so ugly, inside and out. This ugliness oozes from him, he’s repulsive.”
Corbyn, who has always denied reports that he is anti-Semitic, responded to the rise in complaints in 2016 when he approached human rights campaigner Shami Chakrabarti to investigate anti-Semitism and other forms of racism inside the Labour Party.
Chakrabarti’s report concluded that while the Labour Party was not “overrun by anti-Semitism or other forms of racism” it did maintain what was described as an “occasional toxic atmosphere” with “clear evidence of ignorant attitudes” in areas of the party.
Furthermore, the Home Affairs Select Committee launched their own inquiry into antisemitism in the United Kingdom and their investigation found that “no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party.”
