Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs pleads not guilty to new criminal indictment

During a pre-trial, rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has pled not guilty to a superseding indictment regarding the various accusations of assault levelled against him by former staff.

The alleged actions of Combs have been arising ever since 2023 when he was accused of conducting debaucherous sexual acts at his infamous “freak off” parties. Prosecutors had filed a superseding indictment against Combs in March 2025, which cited the years of alleged abuse suffered by many of his employees.

When discussing Combs’s actions, the initial indictment claimed that the rap mogul “used physical force, physiological harm, financial harm, reputational harm and/or threats of the same to cause the employee to engage in sex acts with Combs.”

Additionally, the hearing also showcased a video of Combs in 2016, where Combs was shown assaulting his girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. While Combs’s lawyers have alleged that the footage obtained from CNN capturing the incident had been doctored, Judge Arun Subramanian have motioned for the lawyers to come to an agreement with the news network regarding whether it will be used as justifiable evidence.

In regards to the accusations of engaging in sex acts, Combs’s lawyers have claimed that they are still in the process of gathering the details of the story, alleging that they have “recently came into possession of a great deal of medical records”.

Combs has been awaiting a trial since September 2024, where he was initially arrested for various crimes including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Judge Subramanian has set a jury selection for May 5th and his trial date for May 12th. He denies all of the charges.
