Scotland’s Electric Fields announces day & stage splits
One of the finest festivals to burst onto the UK scene in recent years has released it’s full lineup, including day and stage splits.
Scotland’s Electric Fields takes place for three days at the end of the month, within the stunning surroundings of Drumlanrig Castle, just north of Dumfries.
And as fans have become accustomed to over the last few summers, this year’s bill is a vibrant celebration of the alternative music scene at the moment.
As well as chart-topping headliners James, Leftfield and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, there are a host of Far Out favourites on the bill, including the likes of Shame, Dream Wife and Ghostpoet to name just a few.
On top of that, revellers can expect a world of entertainment beyond the live music, too, with comedy & cabaret, a late night DJ set from Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor and (perhaps most intriguingly) an ‘Alan Partridge Dance Party’.
The festival have also announced a limited number of last minute weekend tickets will go on sale this Friday (August 10th) at 9am. Head here for full details.
Electric Fields will take place at Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfries & Galloway, from Thursday August 30th until Saturday September 1st. See the full lineup poster below.
