Savages | Live At La Cigale

Some bands, a rare breed of artist, were born purely with the desire to perform live; Savages are those artists.

Currently on the road touring the release of their second album Adore Life, Savages, a post punk band with such electrifying talent, led Far Out editor Jack Whatley feeling too compelled not to discuss their brilliance and ask the question: are Savages the best band in Britain?

With Drums from Fay Milton, Bass provided by Ayse Hassan, guitar comes via Gemma Thompson and vocals are all Jehnny Beth’s and they want you to know.

The group recently played historic Parisian venue La Cigale, armed with a camera and sound crew and a director with a wonderful eye for detail, ‘Sad Person’, ‘She Will’ and ‘Hit Me’ excelled.

Filmed by Walter films and directed by Antoine Carlier, enjoy Savages:
