Sam Fender to headline F1’s British Grand Prix

Sam Fender has been announced as the headliner at the F1 British Grand Prix, which will take place at Silverstone in July.

In recent years, the F1 has expanded its events by introducing live music concerts on the days before the race and on race day. Last year, Stormzy, Kings of Leon, Pete Tong, Rudimental, and Self Esteem were among the acts to perform at Silverstone.

At this year’s event, Sam Fender will headline on July 3rd, Raye on July 4th, Fatboy Slim on July 5th and Becky Hill will close the British Grand Prix on July 6th.

Nick Read, Silverstone’s chief commercial officer, said in a statement: “Over the past few years we have established Silverstone as a world-class venue that attracts the biggest and best artists to deliver unforgettable experiences, and it’s an honour to continue that as we announce Sam Fender, RAYE, Fatboy Slim, and Becky Hill as our stellar all-British headliners for the 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix.”

Read continued: “Following the incredible success of last year’s music offering, we knew we had to raise the bar once again – and we’re thrilled to be delivering a line-up packed with homegrown talent at the very top of their game.”

Fender is on the cusp of releasing his third album, People Watching, set to arrive on February 21st. So far, he has shared various cuts from the highly-anticipated record, including the title track, ‘Arm’s Length‘ and ‘Wild Long Lie’.

In a four-star review, Far Out wrote of the new album: “People Watching is an album that does it all, showing each and every corner of Fender’s talent and ability, but especially shining a clear light on his unrivalled knack for boiling down huge topics into deeply personal, human stories.”

In addition to headlining the Grand Prix, Fender is set to play a string of outdoor dates across the United Kingdom, including three stadium shows at St James’ Park in Newcastle. He is also set to perform at the London Stadium, Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park, Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showgrounds and Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast.
