Rolling Stones to release rare BBC recordings for special ‘On Air’ vinyl

The Rolling Stones will release On Air this winter, “a selection of BBC recordings from the 1960’s which offer a unique insight into the formative days of the band.”

The collection, due out December 1st on vinyl, pulls together the Rolling Stones’ performances from BBC shows such as Saturday ClubThe Joe Loss Pop ShowBlues in RhythmTop Gear and Yeah Yeah. Eight of the performances, which came between 1963, features songs the Rolling Stones have never recorded or released commercially.

The webstore has a deluxe yellow vinyl version of the 2xLP set, while you can also find it in a book bundle.
