‘Ride Lonesome’: Beck returns with new single and confirms North America tour
Beck has returned with his first new music of 2026 and announced plans for a new North American tour.
‘Ride Lonesome’ is the start of a new chapter for Beck, while also reminding listeners why they fell in love with him in the first place all those years ago on 2002’s Sea Change.
As it stands, there has been no further announcement regarding whether a new album will follow, but the upcoming 25-date tour of North America suggests that it won’t be the only piece of music that Beck delivers in 2026.
Notably, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter has not a full-studio album since 2019’s Hyperspace, but has still consistently released music, such as the EP, Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime, which arrived in January.
In September, he’ll kick off the Ride Lonesome tour in Vancouver on September 16th, followed by stops in Woodinville, Portland, Santa Barbara, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and two nights at The Masonic in San Francisco.
Then, in October, Beck will kick the month off on October 1st at Red Rocks in Colorado, ahead of trips to Omaha, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit and two nights at Massey Hall in Toronto.
Beck will then round out his month with shows in Boston, Philadelphia, two nights at the Paramount in Brooklyn, Washington, Durham, Asheville, Atlanta and Nashville.
Tickets for Beck’s Ride Lonesome tour are set to go on sale on April 24th at 10am local time.
