Reading & Leeds Festival announces Stormzy and Rage Against The Machine among first wave of acts for 2020
Surfs up! The first wave of acts for Reading and Leeds Festival has been announced with Rage Against The Machine and Stormzy confirmed as new headliners alongside Liam Gallagher.
It has been announced today that the reunion shows for legendary rockers, Rage Against The Machine will stretch across the pond. The band are set to headline Leeds on 28th August and close the Reading Festival on 30th August.
The announcement also included the groundbreaking news that Stormzy will take his own huge show to headline the festival. With the success of Glastonbury 2019 still ringing in his ears, the pioneering rapper will now headline the August Bank Holiday event.
Completing the list is Liam Gallagher, though that naughty Britpop star shared his inclusion in the line-up with his fans on Twitter back in November to the festival organisers’ frustration.
As well as the headliners, the festival organisers have also shared the first wave of acts for the rest of the bill. IDLES, AJ Tracey, Courteeners, slowthai, Rex Orange County, and so many more have all been added to the huge event.
Tickets for Reading and Leeds 2020 go on sale on Thursday, February 13th at 9am. You can see the full list of acts below:
