Rami Malek, fresh from his performance as Freddie Mercury in recent biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, is teasing his next move.
While Bond 25, the upcoming feature film that has been shrouded in chaos begins to take shape, Malek has added fuel to the fire that he could be ready to move on from Queen singer to Bond villain.
New Bond director Cary Joji Fukunaga, who is already bringing back a string of familiar faces as Bond 25 looks to steady the ship, was rumoured to be interested in Malek from the very beginning of his inclusion.
Now, Malek has been quizzed on the potential for the very first time: “We’ll have to see about that – it would be nice to play a villain, that would be another dream role for me,” Malek told ET when directly asked about the potential role.
“I’ve got to play so many great ones so far so who knows,” he continued.
He added: “I’m keeping tight-lipped.”
