In a bid to fight off the chaos that surrounds this project, the director Cary Joji Fukunaga is bringing back a string of familiar faces as Bond 25 looks to steady the ship.
Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, veteran 007 screenwriters, have already agreed to return to ‘Bond 25’ after things fell apart following the departure of former director Danny Boyl and now, with pressure ramping up, more big names will return to the franchise.
Now, according to Fukunaga, he is taking on this film with the intentions of using all the luxuries that are at his disposal. Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, who have all appeared in previous Bond films, will make cameos in the new feature: “You have some of the best actors in the world here,” he said in a new interview with the Mail. “Why wouldn’t I have the best coming back?” he added.
Whishaw, famously, was unveiled as the new Q in the most recent Bond film Spectre and is wildly expected to keep that role in the forthcoming film.
In the same 2015 picture, Seydoux played the role of Dr Madeleine Swann, Fiennes was ‘M’ and will be coming back, as will Harris who played Moneypenny in Spectre.
