Rage Against The Machine’s guitarist Tom Morello has announced a brand new book called Whatever It Takes which will be released in October this year.
The hardback book will arrive as photo memoir which will naturally be chock full of rarely seen photos that chronicle the guitarist’s acclaimed career.
Of course, the book will be packed with images but will also arrive with some handwritten notes and additional commentary from Morello. “This is a book about a lifelong mission,” said the guitarist in a statement.
“A mission that more often can be felt rather than articulated. There are clues to the nature of the mission in the guitar riffs, the crazy solos, the lyrics, and in the shared sweat and solidarity of friends and comrades onstage and off.”
The book will be available in a standard edition and a limited edition which will be limited to 2,000 copies. The limited edition will come with Morello’s signature and an exclusive 7″ vinyl with a track titled ‘Whatever It Takes’ backed by a live rendition of ‘Vigilante Nocturno’.
There’s even a bump up available from the limited edition as the bumper pack, those numbered 1-150 will include a singed lyric print.
