Radiohead are streaming ‘The King of Limbs: From the Basement’ online free

Continuing their brilliant quarantine streaming series, Radiohead have released their brilliant project The King of Limbs: From the Basement to view online free.

The King of Limbs: Live from the Basement, a live video album recorded by the band in 2011, arrived as Radiohead’s second ‘From the Basement’ series after they previously released In Rainbows – From the Basement three years prior.

In typical Radiohead style, the session was recorded in Maida Vale Studios and produced by the band’s longtime and prolific collaborator Nigel Godrich.

The performance includes special renditions of all the eight tracks featured on the band’s 2011 album The King of Limbs and, at certain periods, Radiohead are joined by Clive Deamer who contributes with additional drums and percussion.

“Turning The King of Limbs into a live performance and filming it was a strange and wild thing, we were not sure if it would work,” Thom Yorke said of the stream. “Thanks to everyone’s dedication and commitment it ended up being, for me, one of my favourite musical experiences.”
