The Far Out Pub Quiz: Stephen Colbert, “evil” Donald Trump, and John Travolta’s dazzling beret

They say no news is good news, but try telling that to the prick who’s gotta write a news quiz every week.

Granted, things have been a bit slow, but there have been a few interesting stories here and there. Perhaps one of the most notable is the fact that this week is the last week that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is on the air. For his final run, he’s pulled out all the stops, bringing a whole barrage of stars on screen to be interviewed and perform. It’s nice that he’s going out with a bang, but it must kill him that he’ll never beat the moment he interviewed Ringo Starr over Zoom.

Lockdown was made infinitely better by the revelation that The Beatles’ drummer refuses to eat any dairy products that come from a cow. Because he thinks it’s amoral? No, not at all. It’s because he thinks the molecules from the cow are far too big, but the molecules from a goat are just right. If you haven’t seen the clip I’m referring to, go find it. Realistically, for his final week, Colbert should have just played those few seconds over and over again.

Also in the news were jabs at Donald Trump, record-breaking art sales, an iconic Paul McCartney performance and John Travolta’s only gone and got himself a new hat. You can test your knowledge on all of these topics and more with the quiz below, which features a range of questions from different corners of the world of entertainment.
