Primavera Sound 2026: Barcelona event announces line-up
Primavera Sound Barcelona have officially announced the 2026 line-up.
Headliners on the stacked bill include The Cure, Gorillaz, The xx, Doja Cat, My Bloody Valentine, and Massive Attack.
The first announcement wave was made via video on their social media channels. The video also revealed huge indie and alternative names such as Wet Leg, Blood Orange, Slowdive, Viagra Boys and Mac DeMarco.
The line-up also echoes that of 2025, which was topped by pop trio Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappel Roan; pop music is out in full force again in 2026 with sets from the likes of Addison Rae, PinkPantheress, Lola Young, and Jade.
Other acts on the stacked bill include Alex G, Father John Misty, 2025 returner Ethel Cain, Water From Your Eyes, Yard Act, Overmono, and Oklou.
Kneecap, cast repeatedly into the headlines due to their unwavering support for Palestine, are also set to perform. They will be joined by the likes of Rilo Kiley, Role Model and Dijon.
Folk-rock titans Big Thief also join the line-up, while 2024 returner Peggy Gou promises a wild and extravagant addition to the rave scene represented by the likes of Men I Trust, 2hollis, Ashnikko, Men I Trust and MARINA.
Another surprise on the line-up will see Cameron Winter, frontman of soaring indie-rock New Yorker’s Geese, perform a solo set. Lambrini Girls, Panda Bear, and Ralphie Choo will also feature. Smaller acts such as The New Eves and NewDad will provide a promising alternative display.
The official press release positions this line-up confidently, as an offer of “Five decades of popular music, from distorted rock to hip-hop, from pop to cutting-edge electronic music, condensed into these seven names that underline the multifaceted identity of the festival.”
A fan sale for tickets will take place on September 29th. General sale will start on September 30th. See the full line-up poster below.
