Fresh from signing a deal with Partisan Records, Montreal-based band Pottery have unveiled their latest track, ‘Take Your Time’.
Having rounded together band members from the UK and across Canada, Pottery is pulled together by the core writing duo of Austin Boylan and Jacob Shepansky along with the musical prowess of Peter Baylis, Paul Jacobs, and Tom Gould.
Having been propelled onto the mainstage with a support slot on tour with Parquet Courts a few years back, Pottery has honed their sound and style and are preparing to unleash it with a new album, Welcome to Bobby’s Motel, which is due out on April 10th.
In an accompanying statement, the post-punk outfit explained how it remains “indebted” to Andy Gill, the Gang of Four co-founder and lead guitarist who suddenly passed away just last month.
To coincide with the album and new single news, the band has announced a worldwide tour which includes four shows in the UK. See the dates, below.
Pottery UK Tour Dates: June 08 – Brighton, Chalk 09 – Manchester, Deaf Institute 10 – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club 11 – London, The Dome Tufnell Park
