Phoebe Bridgers announces third album, ‘Lost Weekend’

Phoebe Bridgers has finally revealed her third album, titled Lost Weekend

The singer has been cultivating a massive sense of speculation ahead of the announcement, having already revealed The Lost Tour, kicking off in September, alongside a series of intimate pop-up gigs.

Subsequently, the highly-anticipated reveal of the album, Lost Weekend, was unveiled on June 24th, with the record set for release on August 14th.

Given Bridgers’ persistent elusiveness throughout the start of this new era, very minimal details are known about what the album will entail, with the ‘Scott Street’ singer only saying in the Instagram announcement post that the “First song comes out tomorrow.”

Although none of the track list is known at this stage, Bridgers has already performed eight of the songs at a last-minute and phone-free show at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

Additionally, from gleaning information via the intimate shows she played in Texas and New Mexico in May, one of the songs is seemingly named ‘The Lost Boys’.

In terms of the upcoming tour, Bridgers is maintaining her want for intimate experiences as all the arena shows, spanning across the UK, US, and Europe, will be entirely device-free using Yondr pouches.

With the run of shows kicking off on September 14th at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the singer added nine extra dates across the entire tour to accommodate high demand. However, all the dates are now fully sold out.

Lost Weekend marks Bridgers’ first album in six years, following on from 2020’s Punisher, and is set to arrive on August 14th.
