Former Beatle Paul McCartney has released two brand new songs, ‘Home Tonight’ and ‘In A Hurry’.

The tracks, which were recorded as part of the sessions for McCartney’s most recent album Egypt Station which was released last year, were produced by Greg Kurstin who has famously worked closely with the likes of Foo Fighters and Adele in the past.

While McCartney has made the tracks available digitally already, the 77-year-old has confirmed that both ‘Home Tonight’ and ‘In A Hurry’ will be released as a double A-side 7-inch vinyl as part of the Record Store Black Friday event on November 29th.

The news of new material from McCartney arrives just days after it was confirmed that he will, after much speculation, headline the 2020 Glastonbury Festival. Emily Eavis, co-organiser of the festival, confirmed the news when she said: “IT’S REAL!! So excited.. Having Paul McCartney coming back to headline the Pyramid next year is an absolute dream come true,” she said.

“There really was no one that we wanted more for the 50th anniversary.”

For now, though, enjoy the two new tracks from Macca:
