Paul McCartney shares bizarre new video for ‘Find My Way Back’

Paul McCartney is back with a new video sporting video game aesthetics and a Scooby-Doo hallway chase vibe, for his single ‘Find My Way Back’ featuring Beck.

Originally taken from last year’s McCartney III, the song was then reworked from the Imagined incarnation of the record.

For the video, Macca is digitally de-aged and donning a classic Beatles-era slim lapelled black suit as he parades around a hotel hallway before seemingly being transported.

The de-ageing comes from co-producers, Hyperreal Digital, a company that specialises, as their name suggests, in crafting uber-realistic digital avatars.

It was also directed by the music video veteran Andrew Donoho, who has worked with Janelle Monae and The Stroked in recent times, on this occasion achieving a trippy feel that harks back to McCartney’s Revolver days.

Upon the release, Hyperreal Digital CEO, Remington Scott, stated: “The technology to de-age talent and have them perform in creative environments like this is now fully-realised, even with one of the most recognised faces in the world.”

While McCartney does also look a lot like Lee Mack and Miles Kane in the video, they have, nevertheless, created something pretty fascinating to watch, and you can check it out below.
