Patti Smith, the Libertines and Thurston Moore are the leading names set to perform the ‘Hoping for Palestine’ charity show taking place in London.
The benefit show for children’s charity the HOPING Foundation, which will hosted by comedian John Bishop, takes place at the Roundhouse and will also include the likes of Loyle Carner, poet Eric Cantona and comedian Frankie Boyle.
“HOPING stands for Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation,” the event description reads. “It is a charitable foundation that provides grants to organisations working with Palestinian refugee children living in refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza. The concert is our way to shine a light on the remarkable young Palestinians that HOPING is proud to support.”
