The London boys Palace have announced the release of their debut LP So Long Forever out on Fiction records on November 4th, perfect for the bleak winter ahead. To enjoy this news even further we can also give you a taste of the hotly anticipated record with lead track ‘Break The Silence’.
A band that is garnering huge attention of late with BBC Radio 1 taking a particular keen interest, the band are honing their sound to an incredible perfection. Adding the splashes of watercolour to their otherwise multi-faceted grey pallet, ‘Break The Silence’ further entrenches them to their sound.
“Our album is a great summary of where Palace are as a band,” the said of the record. “It’s a culmination of very early songs and new ones. We wanted an album that takes you on a journey through different emotions and ups and downs.
“It’s our distinctive blues sound mixed with atmosphere and epic reverb. One of the things the album deals with is loss and how we deal with those difficult situations. Whether we fall apart or it makes us stronger.”
