A virtual Oasis house party is taking place this weekend

At a time when millions of people remain stuck inside amid strict social distancing measures, we’re being forced to reevaluate the way we source our entertainment.

While a host of different musicians take their liver material to the online stage, music fans Hannah Summers and Jon Beck have organised a ‘stay at home’ edition of their hugely popular back to back club night series.

After launching in London prior to the crisis, the event arrived at popular music venue Dingwalls to deliver four hours of nothing but iconic songs by Manchester Britpop icons Oasis. Now, as we’re all desperate for a social release, the event is moving online.

“After the absolute INSANITY that was the first-ever Mad Fer It House Party at the start of this month and with the hangover just about cleared, we’ve decided it’s time to bring you another Oasis ONLY House Party this Friday at 8pm (UK time),” the organisers said.

They added: “We had almost 6,000 Mad Fer It Oasis fans on the last broadcast and we wanna try and break the 10,000 barrier this time around so click “Going” on the event page and like, comment and share with all your Oasis-loving mates.”

The Oasis House Party will take this Friday and will play nothing but the classics for 90 minutes solid.
