No Doubt kick off Sphere residency: Here’s everything they played on night one
No Doubt kicked off the first night of their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas last night (May 6th), delivering a career-spanning set.
The 90s rockers, fronted by Gwen Stefani, were initially set to play a limited run of six shows at the state-of-the-art Vegas venue; however, this was later extended to 12 concerts due to demand.
Following the conclusion of their reunion tour in 2015, No Doubt have kept their public performances extremely limited. They returned exclusively for Coachella in 2024, and later came together again for FireAid following the Los Angeles fires in early 2025.
As it stands, their Vegas residency is the only place that fans will get to see them in the flesh anytime soon, causing people to travel from all around the globe to see them perform in Vegas.
For their first show, No Doubt wound back the clocks by kicking the show off with a performance of ‘Tragic Kingdom’, the title track of their third album, marking the first time it had been played since 2009.
It wasn’t the only song in their back catalogue to be taken out of storage, either. No Doubt also delighted fans with their first airing of ‘The Climb’ since 1997, as well as their first performance of ‘Trapped in a Box’ since 2002, and ‘Running’ since 2012.
Their biggest hits, such as ‘Don’t Speak’, ‘Just a Girl’, ‘It’s My Life’, ‘Underneath it All’, and ‘Spiderwebs’, also featured.
They ended their 21-song set, which did not see the band perform an encore, with the beloved fan favourite, ‘Sunday Morning’.
No Doubt will return to the Sphere on May 8th, with more shows set to take place at the 18,000-capacity arena on the 9th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 29th, and 30th of this month.
