No Doubt set to reunite for Coachella

The Coachella lineup has been revealed for 2024, including No Doubt, who are set to reunite for a performance at the festival.

While the dates and times for No Doubt are still to be confirmed, they have been announced on the poster as a special guest, therefore have yet to be assigned to any specific day. Previously, a teaser video was uploaded onto the group’s X account, leading many to believe a reunion was on the cards.

The aforementioned clip played their hit ‘Just A Girl’ while showing footage of Gwen Stefani reflecting on some of the collages she made as artwork for the band’s second album, The Beacon Street Collection.

The teaser ended with the band calling one another and agreeing to “do a show”. Afterwards, a red question mark fills up the screen, which has since been answered in the form of Coachella.

Their upcoming Coachella performance will mark the band’s first time playing together since 2015. Their initial run occurred between 1992 and 2001, when they released five studio albums with multiple hit singles. Since then, they have reunited in fits and starts, with their last full-length project arriving in 2012.

Whether or not this reunion means the band plans on doing more shows together or releasing new music is yet to be seen. Any decision on their future will likely be made following their Coachella performance.

Other artists included in the Coachella lineup are Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, Doja Cat, Blur, Ice Spice, Peggy Gou, The Beths, Bicep, Black Country, New Road, Bleachers, Militarie Gun, Jockstrap and Jungle.

The first weekend of the Californian festival is set to run from April 12th til 14th before returning for a second event between April 19th and 21st.
