Nine Inch Nails announce details of ‘Peel It Back’ world tour
Nine Inch Nails have unveiled details of their Peel It Back tour, which they are set to take across the UK, Europe and North America in 2025.
The industrial rock icons will begin the extensive run of dates on June 15th, 2025, at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Nine Inch Nails will then head to the United Kingdom for a performance at Manchester’s Co-op Live on June 17th before playing at London’s O2 Arena on June 18th.
Other major cities in Europe that Nine Inch Nails are set to visit for headline shows are Cologne, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris. They have also been confirmed for a series of European festivals, such as Mad Cool in Spain, Open’er in Poland, NOS Alive in Portugal, and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium. Nine Inch Nails are also ruled out of Glastonbury due to two dates in mainland Europe during the same weekend.
The band’s arena tour across North America is scheduled to commence on August 6th in Oakland, California. The six-week run of dates will take them across the major cities, including stops in Toronto, Brooklyn, Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia, Tampa, Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Vancouver, Detroit, and Portland. The tour will conclude at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles on September 18th.
Confirmation of the tour comes after Nine Inch Nails previously stated they would be announcing dates in the foreseeable future earlier this month. On Instagram, the band wrote: “Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon.”
“We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening,” they added in reference to the wildfires destroying Los Angeles.
Previously, in 2023, frontman Trent Reznor appeared on Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin and stated he had no plans to return to the road with Nine Inch Nails, stating, “I don’t want to be away from my kids. I don’t want to miss their lives to go do a thing that I’m grateful to be able to do, and I’m appreciative that you’re here to see it, but I’ve done it a lot, you know?”
While Nine Inch Nails are yet to release new material, Reznor did confirm his intention to get in the studio during a conversation with GQ last year, remarking, “I think coming out of a stretch of a number of films in a row, I want some time of seeing where the wind blows versus: there’s a looming date on a calendar coming up and we’d better get our shit together.”
