Nikki Glaser to return as host of Golden Globes

Comedian Nikki Glaser has been confirmed to return as the host of the Golden Globes in 2026.

Glaser made history in January by becoming the first woman to host the prestigious ceremony. Her performance was celebrated, and she stormed the occasion; therefore, it is little surprise that she will be returning in 2026.

In a statement, Glaser shared: “Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career. I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from The White Lotus who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”

Meanwhile, Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes, added, “Nikki Glaser brought a refreshing spark and fearless wit to the Golden Globes stage this year. Her sharp humor and bold presence set the tone for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony feel vibrant and most of all fun.”

This year, The Brutalist had a night to remember at the Golden Globes, picking up the award for ‘Best Motion Picture – Drama’, director Brady Corbet won ‘Best Director – Motion Picture’ and Adrien Brody also won ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama’.

Additionally, Demi Moore was celebrated with the award for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy Or Musical’. In her powerful speech, she said: “I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now! I’ve been doing this a long (time), like over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor. And I’m just so humbled and so grateful.”

The next edition of the Golden Globes is set to take place in January 2026.
