Nick Cave and Warren Ellis to score new Adnan Syed TV Series
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are again teaming up and will provide the score for ‘The Case Against Adnan Syed,’ a new documentary series.
The series, which will debut on Sky Atlantic in Europe, will cover the 1999 disappearance and murder of high school student Hae Min Lee and the conviction of her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed.
Fans of the hit podcast ‘Serial’ will be very much aware of the Syed case as it starred as lead episode in 2014. Although it has been in production since 2015, a release date for the series has not yet been announced.
Adnan Syed was convicted of first-degree murder in 2000 and sentenced to life in prison, following the Serial coverage Syed was granted a new trial in and in 2016.
