New Order reveal new trailer for documentary series ‘TRANSMISSION’

New Order have today revealed the trailer for a brand new documentary titled ‘TRANSMISSION’. The film aims to focus on the debut album of their now classic album Movement.

The film will follow the Manchester band that came and flourished after the end of Joy Division. The episodes will be launched on New Order’s YouTube channel next Thursday.

The band had huge success after the death of Joy Division singer, Ian Curtis, renaming themselves New Order and becoming huge pioneers of new music technology.

TRANSMISSIONS looks to be an exciting and reflective look back at the band’s beginnings. Discussing the project New Order discusses the double accomplishment of having two successful bands: “To be one band with such a distinct identity is pretty bloody lucky, but then to get a complete and separate identity was amazing.”

This is the story of Movement. Told by New Order.
