New lawsuit accuses Marilyn Manson of rape and sexual abuse

A new lawsuit against Marilyn Manson has accused the singer of rape and sexual abuse. The allegations arrive amid a flurry of women who have spoken out against Manson in recent months.

In new documents that have been viewed by PEOPLE, the complaint is said to made by a woman listed as “Jane Doe” who claims that Manson sexually abused and raped her on multiple occasions during their relationship in 2011.

As part of her lawsuit, the woman is said to have “repressed” the memories of the alleged incidents for ten years. However, the very recent claims made by a number of women have brought back painful memories.

As part of the new claims made against the 52-year-old musician, “Jane Doe” claims that Manson raped her and threatened to kill her, even boasting that “he would ‘get away with it’ if he indeed murdered her.”

Detailing the alleged abuse, the woman said that she feared for her life after Manson showed her a videotape of himself “allegedly abusing a young woman by tying her to a chair, making her drink what appeared to be urine, and threatening her with a gun,” the claims made by PEOPLE state.

The report adds: “Manson allegedly told the women he had filmed the video in 1996 following an appearance at the Hollywood Bowl, that he had kept the videotape locked up in a safe.”

In response, a source close to Manson has told the publication that the video – shot in 1996 – was a “scripted short film that was never released.” The Jane Doe complaint explains how the woman feared for her life after witnessing the video. The traumatic details of the document also include specific details of the alleged abuse, including claims of forced oral sex, violence and rape.

The latest lawsuit follows similar claims made by Manson’s former assistant Ashley Walters, ex-girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline, former partner Evan Rachel Wood and more. The accusations include sexual abuse, violence, rape, murder threats, exploitation, manipulation, grooming and psychological abuse.

Manson has vehemently denied all allegations made against him. A spokesperson for the singer produced a statement in response declaring: “There are so many falsehoods within her claims that we wouldn’t know where to begin to answer them.”
