As though he wasn’t already busy enough, the prolific rocker Neil Young has announced yet another new project.
Young, who has been dipping into his extensive back catalogue and announced his plans to release three new archival projects, has now followed it up with the revelation that the veteran musician will also share his new The Times EP.
Young announced the plans while performing as part of his extremely popular ‘Fireside Sessions’ which have been running throughout the health crisis lockdown. Young, who is entering into a legal battle with President Donald Trump amid unauthorised used of his music, ran through a rendition of ‘Lookin’ for a Leader’ and added a direct message to the politician.
“I invite the President to play this song at his next rally,” Young said. “A song about the feelings many of us have about America today, it’s part of the The Times, an EP coming soon from Reprise Records — my home since 1968.”
