My Bloody Valentine announce first UK tour in more than a decade

My Bloody Valentine have confirmed details of their first UK tour for the first time in more than a decade, which is set to commence later this year.

The new dates from My Bloody Valentine comes after they previously revealed details of their long-awaited return to Ireland last November. They are set to play the 3Arena in Dublin on November 22nd, which is their first Irish headline date since 1992 and will be their first live appearance since 2018.

Following the Dublin performance on November 22nd, My Bloody Valentine have now shared they will be visiting Manchester’s Aviva Studios on November 24th before arriving in London’s Wembley Arena on November 25th before the short tour concludes at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on November 27th.

Tickets are set to go on general sale on April 4th at 10am. Fans are encouraged to sign up to the band’s website by 9am on March 31st to access the pre-sale which is set to begin at 10am on March 31st.

My Bloody Valentine are yet to release any new material since their 2013 album, MBV, which was their first release in more than 20 years.

Speaking in 2021, frontman Kevin Shields provided an update on their long-awaited fourth album, stating, “We definitely didn’t want to work with a major record company, since we wanted a lot of control and independence. We’re getting into a partnership with Domino mainly because they’re one of the few great independent labels that are left in the world.”

Shields also divulged that the band planned to release two albums in 2022, “With an interval of at least six months.”

However, it’s now 2025 and My Bloody Valentine are yet to release any new music, but their plans to tour is an encouraging sign that it’s potentially on the horizon.
