Mumford and Sons to headline BST Hyde Park 2026
Mumford and Sons are set to return to the Hyde Park stage as headliners in 2016 for their first time in a decade.
The band, who grew up around West London’s grassroots music scene, have deemed the show more than a singular performance. Instead, it’s a homecoming.
They will be joined by The War On Drugs, and plenty more big names, soon to be announced.
Celebrating the announcement, the band shared, “Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special.”
They added excitedly, “London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait.”
The set promises to celebrate every corner of their large catalogue, from modern classics to those early favourites.
AEG Presents CEO Jim King has shared his own excitement on the matter, stating, “Their last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Recently, the band also announced that their sixth studio album will be titled Prizefighter. It will be released on February 13th, 2026. The first single for the new record was released in October: ‘Rubber Band Man’, featuring Irish singer-songwriter Hozier, details the breakdown of a relationship.
Prizefighter will also include collaborations from Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton, Aaron Dessner, and Gigi Perez. The record was co-written and co-produced alongside The National’s Aaron Dessner at his Long Pond Studio in upstate New York.
Other BST Hyde Park announcements have been trickling through. Recently, Lewis Capaldi announced he is set to embark on his biggest ever headline tour in the UK, including coveted slots at BST Hyde Park in London and Roundhay Park in Leeds.
Fans of the band can buy tickets for the summer show on December 4th here.
