Miley Cyrus performed a surprise cover of iconic Pink Floyd song ‘Comfortably Numb’ during her the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas this weekend.
The song, released as part of Pink Floyd‘s eleventh album, The Wall in 1979, was written by guitarist David Gilmour with lyrical and verse contributions by bassist Roger Waters.
Cyrus, who also covered Led Zeppelin during her performance, told the crowd, “My favourite faces to see in the crowd are confused dads,” as she strutted across the stage and interacted with the audience.
Elsewhere in the performance, Cyrus offered gave her fans the debut rendition of ‘Don’t Call Me An Angel’, a song written in collaboration with with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey.
