Miles Kane has announced a brand new UK tour alongside a new single, the unstoppably catchy ‘Blame it on the Summertime’. The tour will see the smooth-moving, stadium-sized rock star in some of the country’s most intimate venues.
With festival season firmly behind him, having been involved in some of the country’s most legendary events, the focus is now on the future as Kane shares some new material from, one can only imagine, an upcoming new record.
‘Blame it on the Summertime’ is an undeniably feel-good indie hit. Produced with all the pop sheen that Cam Blackwood brings along with him, the track, which was co-written by Kane and James Biles and Paul Butler of The Bees, is a sun-soaked shimmy in the field of rock and roll.
Speaking of the single, Kane said: “This tune is about feeling stuck in a relationship that has become toxic and the clarity that the summertime brings on these seemingly impossible situations.”
This October will also see Kane go on tour but not as you might expect. The artist is looking to test out some new material, alongside his hits, and so it aking the music to the people. Finding himself in some of the country’s most iconic intimate venues (The Welly Club, we’re talking about you) the October tour will be a chance to see Kane up close and personal.
