Mikkey Dee announces European tour and promises Motörhead hits

Mikkey Dee, the iconic drummer best known for his close to quarter of a century stint with Motörhead, is going on tour in 2026 and promises to perform the fan favourite Motörhead classics.

Dee will be joined on the tour by The Drippers members Viktor Skatt and Stig William Richard.

After Motörhead disbanded in 2015, Dee joined Scorpions, with whom he sold out shows all over the world. Now, as Dee takes a break from his commitments with Scorpions, he will be dusting off the Motörhead tunes once more.

The upcoming tour was announced by way of social media, where an Instagram caption explained, “That fans miss Motörhead has become even clearer now that Mikkey Dee is selling out shows almost everywhere when he performs Motörhead classics with Viktor Skatt and William Dickborn.”

It added, “Now there is a chance to experience the band’s legendary catalog again when Mikkey has a short break from Scorpions.”

The tour will kick off on May 8th at Gummifabriken in Sweden. From there, Dee and friends will take their tour to the likes of Trondheim, Hamar and Gelsenkirchen.

They will play three dates in June, in Strängnäs, Kramfors, and Ørje. They will take a considerable break over the height of the summer, before kicking back up again on August 6th in Kortrijk.

They will play three more shows in August, and play two final shows, in Borlänge and Linköping on October 23rd and 24th respectively, to round things off.
