Mickey Rourke threatens Robert De Niro and calls him “a big f***ing cry-baby”
Mickey Rourke has reignited his feud with Robert De Niro by branding the actor a ” big f***ing cry-baby” in a social media rant.
The high-profile Hollywood battle has been ongoing for a number of years, a dispute which began when the two actors starred alongside each other in Alan Parker’s 1987 psychological horror film Angel Heart.
The very public falling out began after Rourke claimed that De Niro refused to talk to him on the of set Parkers’ film, suggesting that De Niro was using method acting in reference to the relationship between their characters in the film.
While several comments have occurred in the years that followed, a recent argument was sparked when Rourke claimed that he missed out on a role in Martin Scorsese’s critically acclaimed film The Irishman because De Niro refused to work with him.
However, De Niro’s representatives responded by issuing a statement which claimed that Rourke was “never asked to be in The Irishman nor was he ever even thought of, discussed or considered to be in the movie”.
Now though, Rourke has taken things to the next level by addressing De Niro in a new online rant: “Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right I am talking to you, you big fucking crybaby,” Rourke said in a post on social media.
“A friend of mine just recently told me that a few months back you’re quoted as saying to newspapers ‘Mickey Rourke’s a liar he talks all kind of shit’.
“Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies, you’re the first person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper. Let me tell you something, you punk ass, when I see you I swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, I gonna embarrass you severely 100%. Mickey Rourke as God is my witness.”
