Melody’s Echo Chamber announce new album, ‘Unclouded’
Melody’s Echo Chamber has announced that they are set to release a new album, titled Unclouded.
The musical project, which is the brainchild of French musician Melody Prochet, will release its fourth studio album in December this year, following on from their previous two albums, Emotional Eternal and Unfold, which were both respectively released over the course of 2022.
Unlike their previous records, Unclouded will mark a change of pace for Melody’s Echo Chamber, as Prochet said: “I used to feel nostalgic growing into adulthood, but now that I understand that concept of impermanence, I don’t take it as personally anymore.”
To this end, the press release for the album also adds: “That brighter outlook is reflected in the record’s delectable grooves as much as its more earthbound lyrics – the instinct to escape has been replaced by a sense of being with nature in the present.”
To accompany the announcement of the album, Prochet has also released her latest single ‘In the Stars’ on September 30th, representing a suite of lo-fi beats and soft dream pop, evoking a similar sound to Tame Impala. Indeed, it was the band’s leader Kevin Parker who helped Melody’s Echo Chamber produce their debut album back in 2012.
Alongside the release of the album, Prochet has additionally announced that she is set to tour Europe, the UK, and the United States over the course of April and May next year, including a stop at the Electric Ballroom in London on April 21st.
Melody’s Echo Chamber’s new album Unclouded will be released on December 5th, while tickets for their 2026 tour will go on general sale from October 3rd at 3pm local time.
