Martin Scorsese film ‘The Irishman’ to be released on Netflix in October
Actor Sebastian Maniscalco, who plays the infamous crime boss ‘Crazy’ Joe Gallo in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film The Irishman, has revealed that the release date is expected to be October this year.
Maniscalco, who appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, also revealed that the film will premiere on Netflix. The news comes after speculation that the eagerly anticipated Scorsese film might not be released this year.

Far Out previously reported that the brilliant Joe Pesci has also agreed to join the cast of one of the most hotly anticipated films of recent years. He will join none other than the two major figureheads of the acting world, let alone the gangster genre, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
The film will be the first time Pacino and Scorsese have worked together, and it will mark the first time De Niro has worked with the acclaimed director since starring in 1995’s Casino. It will certainly be the first time these three Italian-American giants of the acting world have worked together at once.
The Irishman depicts the life of real-life mob hitman Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheehan, who alleged he was the gunman to bring down Jimmy Hoffa in the controversial murder. The script was adapted by Steve Zaillian (Schindler’s List) from Charles Brandt’s non-fiction novel I Heard You Paint Houses.
