Mark Hoppus has shared his ranking of all of Blink-182’s entire singles, the bassist decided to use the bracketing technique as he deciphered his favourite Blink track and also dealt with his own quarantine induced boredom at the same time.
Hoppus was challenged by record store and label Smartpunk to take part in the project to which he gladly obliged, tweeting: ”I was challenged by Smart Punk and here’s how it played out,” Hoppus tweeted. “Let’s Argue Online about it.” Attached was his filled-out version of “The Best of Blink 182” bracket which saw him go with a controversial choice as winner.
With Blink-182’s discography including nine studio albums to date as well as countless demos and EP’s which means their total of released tracks is well into the triple figures which made sure it was never going to be a simple straight forward choice for the bassist. Hoppus’ final eight which progresed to the quarter finals weas ‘Dammit’, ‘I Miss You’, ‘All the Small Things’, ‘Rock Show’, ‘What’s My Age Again’, ‘First Date’, ‘Feeling This’, and ‘Adam’s Song’.
The tracks that made it into the semi-finals was ‘All The Small Things’, ‘I Miss You’, ‘Feeling This’ and ‘What’s My Age Again’. With the last two eventually standing being ‘I Miss You’ and ‘Feeling This’, the latter of which won overall.
