Since last week’s statement by Marilyn Manson’s former partner Evan Rachel Wood, more and more accusations of abuse levelled at the singer have surfaced. The latest is an alleged incident that occurred after a show at Glasgow’s SECC.
The story comes to light following an interview with a photographer named Erica Von Stein, with UK newspaper The Mirror.
Von Stein details an incident in which she, along with other female fans, was picked from the crowd by Manson’s minders and escorted to his tour bus. Thereafter she alleges that Manson “forced female fans to strip” as part of a warped sex game, having already plied them with alcohol.
Later in the interview, she stated: “He said he wanted to see who had the best tits and ass. Everyone was a bit surprised. He made it feel normalised, like it was fun. He was surrounded by older people and he was domineering. I don’t think anyone felt they could say no.”
This latest interview surfaces just hours after Wolf Alice lead singer Ellie Rowsell took to Twitter to state that the singer once filmed up her skirt whilst backstage at a festival and questioned the inherent misogyny within the music business.
Von Stein’s statement comes with support from two other girls who were also on the bus at the time of the alleged incident.
Last week Manson released a statement denying the claims and is yet to add any further response in light of the latest allegations.
