Marilyn Manson has canceled several of his tour dates after suffering a freak injury after a falling prop crushed him onstage.
“Manson hopes to return to the stage soon, more details on upcoming shows to follow,” his representatives confirmed after notifying fans that his shows from October 2-14 will be rescheduled.
Manson’s new tour took another drastic turn after being hospitalised by a large stage prop that collapsed and landed on him during his show in New York City.
The 48-year-old artist is three shows into his The Heaven Upside Down Tour when fan footage captured him attempting to climb a steel structure made in the shape of two pistol guns. However, moments later the huge frame came tumbling down on top of Manson, pinning and crushing him to the stage.

“He was performing the [Eurythmics] song Sweet Dreams. Towards the middle of the song it seemed as though he tried climbing onto a prop,” an eye-witness told the BBC.
“The first touch of weight on those poles and it came crashing down onto him.He was pretty limp, almost as though he was unconscious.”
Fan footage captured crew members trying to pull Manson from underneath the structure before he was eventually carried from stage via a stretcher.
“Manson suffered an injury towards the end of his incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital,” a representative has revealed.
On Friday night, in Pittsburgh, Manson suffered another terrible incident when he fell off stage – an accident that has said to have fractured his ankle.
