Maribou State set to headline LIDO festival 2026

Maribou State will headline London‘s LIDO festival in Victoria Park next summer.

Overjoyed at the news, Maribou State released a statement along with the announcement, sharing, “We’ve made some of our best memories touring in London, from our first ever show at Oslo through to playing Alexandra Palace earlier this year. We’re over the moon to announce our biggest show yet in the city next summer, alongside a line up of some of our favourite artists. This is going to be special. See you all next June.”

Maribou State are Hertfordshire-born duo Chris Davids and Liam Ivor, who have played together for almost fifteen years. The duo have established themselves as major players on the global dance music circuit with emotionally resonant performances and groovy soundscapes.

The first edition of LIDO festival took place in 2025. It welcomed headline performances from Massive Attack, Jamie xx, the separately named Outbreak Fest with headliner Turnstile, Charli XCX, and London Grammar.

Far Out attended many of the celebrations and gave Charli XCX’s curation a glowing four-star review, writing, in part, “Sometimes a booking is more than just a good day in the calendar, sometimes it’s a cultural event. Lido’s ‘Party Girl’ day feels like that.”

Far Out gave Maribou State’s January release, Hallucinating Love, three-and-a-half stars, writing, “The record’s tone is optimistic, light-hearted, and demands sunshine. This is a summer album, if ever one existed, as the sound alone is almost enough to give you a tan. It lacks depth somewhat, but an album like this wasn’t made to be theorised about or picked apart; it is merely supposed to be enjoyed and danced to. In that sense, it is the perfect record, and very little could be changed.”

Early access to pre-sale tickets will be available at 10am, October 22nd, with general on sale going live 10am, October 24th.
